Big Question: How would China be different without the many things Deng Xiaoping implemented?
Summary: When Xiaoping came into power China became a new country, he improved the relationship between China and Taiwan, trade increases and travelling to the mainland is allowed. He encouraged the agricultural aspect of China and pushes them to join open market. He also introduced a marriage law and one child policy which was a form of population control which also helped the economy. He also joined the world bank.
