Lenin signed deals with lots of other countries to rebuild Russia after the war. He also set up a comintern to spread the revolution world wide. Right after the war, Russia signed the treaty of Rapallo with Germany. In this treaty, Russia made war material for Germany and let them use it in Russian territory. In exchange, they also received steel manufacturing technology from Germany. The most important thing was bringing the newly formed Soviet Union to the rest of the world. After his death, there was a power struggle between Stalin and Trotsky. Stalin won having more followers of higher status. Stalin brought in lots of modernized tools for the Russians to work with and for. But in other instances Stalin took a step back with the workers themselves with ridiculous demands. More advances could have been potentially made, if he had not been as desperate to catch up and surpass other super powers.

The main difference between the revolutions are related to its leaders and outcomes. In the February revolution all the people in Russia got together to overthrow the Tsar, the main cause was that the war was leaving the rest of the country in hunger. Petrograd was renamed to what is now St. Petersburg. Later on, renamed multiple times. People were fighting blindly to stop something, but it was enough purpose to get them together. Later on came the October revolution. This revolution was lead by Vladimir Lenin and the Bolsheviks. The goal was to establish a communist government in Russia overthrowing the provisional government. This revolution was greatly supported and resulted being rather bloodless. It was supported by the majority of people. Made up mainly of people form the lower and medium class in Russia. The soviets claimed power and intuited what Lenin called "Peace, Land and Bread", aimed to fairly distribute all the resources to everyone. All the resource were government owned and managed. The main difference is that the second revolution attracted a lot of attention, as well as instituting the governmental structure that Russia would run on for the next 70 years. The latter revolution was successful because it brought together the majority of the population for a purpose that would benefit most of them.

This movie shows lots about Russia during the second war. The War in Russia was brutal to the people of the Soviet Union. Soviet war tactics were simple but horrific. Their only tactic was to trow people at the problem and just out number the war, while it worked it tore families apart.
