The Big three consisted of Britain, France and the United States, they we're looking for some common things such as: Germany to be "Weaker" (Not a threat), for them to pay reparations and they wanted to take some land away from them that they had acquired during the first World War. Germany suffered some army bans such as no navy or air force, a limit of 100 000 man army. On the American side, president Wilson wanted his list of 14 points to be fulfilled. Great Britain, along with the U.S. wanted Germany constrained but re-built to become once again a trading partner but also were looking to potentially expand their empire. France was having other ideas, led by George Clemenceau, France was looking for Germany dismembered. France wanted Germany to pay severe reparations and weaken them so they could never make a war ever again. Italy remained neutral despite the alliances with Germany, 1915 it allied with the Allies, the Allies in turn gained power in the secret treaty of London, they would gain numerous territories, in one of the conferences Orlando was refused some territories and with the worry of Italy's imperial ambitions, he in turn turned them down and left the conference in rage.
